Washington County  - Rain barrel / Compost Bins

Washington County has partnered with the Recycling Association of Minnesota (RAM) to sell backyard compost bins and rain barrels at discounted prices. The first 660 Washington County residents to order a compost bin will receive a $15 discount. The discount is limited to one compost bin per Washington County household.

Compost bins and rain-barrels must be pre-ordered on RAM's website, www.recycleminnesota.org. To receive a discount, residents must choose the Woodbury pick up location and enter the discount code Washington. Pre-ordered compost bins and rain barrels will be available for pick up at the Washington County Environmental Center in Woodbury, on the following Saturdays from 9am to 2pm: May 29, June 5, June 12 and June 19.Washington County is not offering a discount for the purchase of a rain barrel but discounts may apply for residents living within the Ramsey-Washington Metro Watershed District.
